Clinton Fire Department issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.
This afternoon at approximately 16:00 hours fire box 4506 was transmitted for a level 3 building fire on School Street in the Town of Clinton. Chief 45 arrived and found a heavy smoke condition from the building. Tower 45 stretched a line into the building while Chief 91 assumed the operations roll.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire and opened the walls to check for extension. Thank you all our mutual aid departments for a quick response.
