Argenta-Oreana Public Library District issued the following announcement on Nov. 10.
The Book Club met yesterday to discuss Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate. This book is based on a true story of the evil that took place in the 1950s regarding illegal adoptions out of the State of Tennessee. Although fictionalized this was a heartbreaking story about sisters and a brother torn apart. Our rating: a solid 4!
