Moultrie County said "yes" on Nov. 6 to the Illinois General Assembly passing legislation to protect the Right to Bear Arms.
County voters weighed in on a referendum for a decision on: "Should the Illinois General Assembly pass legislation protecting a citizen's right to keep and bear arms as defined by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution?"
With 100 percent of the votes counted, 4,520 votes were in favor and 538 were against.
