Delisa R. (Carr) White of Springfield, IL transitioned to her eternal home at 2:11 AM, Wednesday December 26, 2018 at St. John Hospital.
She was born August 20, 1988 in Springfield, IL to Renaldo and Dorothy Gayton. Delisa is survived by Alex White (husband), Aries Jamell Carr (son), Alexis and Aalayia (daughters). She has one sister Tamara White (TyKendrick), a mother-in-law, Wanda French. Several nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather Willie Carr, her grandmother B’Ella Carr, her grandfather Paul Gayton Sr, her grandmother Sabina Gayton-Spiller, and father-in-law, Fred Cooper.
Delisa worked at Community Care as a Home Health Aide. She also was a proud student at University of Spa and Cosmetology Arts, where she was expecting to graduate in August 2019.
She was an artistic, self-expressive, free spirited person, who lived life and people. She loved her husband, her kids and her family; she loved the world!
Her motto was “I Know I will be the Best Dawn Stylist in Town!” #ShuTheStylist!
