Administrators in Clinton Community Unit School District 15 earn an average of $89,602 per year, ranking 615th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a Macon Reporter analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 2.9% lower than in 2014 and 2.4% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 16.5% less than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Dewitt County school district enrolled 1870 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 187 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
