How did James Root spend campaign funds in the second quarter?

Republican James Root's election campaign committee, Root for Sheriff, spent $2,623 in the second quarter, according to committee expenditure records obtained from the Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

Root's committee spent the most on golf outings in the quarter, with all those payments ($750) going to W-L Educational Foundation in Warrensburg. Table 1 below shows the distribution of how Root's committee spent its money in the second quarter.
