Arthur Fire Department issued the following announcement on March 16.
Well. it's been a long and interesting 36 hours. Thanks to all our mutual aid departments for the response yesterday. We initially spent over 14 hours on scene and before the day is over today we will have been back twice to put more water on. Guys worked their tails off, went through air bottle after air bottle and ran through nearly half a million gallons of water. Thanks to everyone for their support.
