Mount Zion home prices rise in the first quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first quarter of 2018 in Mount Zion rose by $7,000 while total sales decreased by 35.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through March of 2018, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $122,000 - a 6.1% increase over the $115,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 17 homes sold in Mount Zion in the first quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Zion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,067.60, approximately 2.5% of the median home sale price for the first quarter of 2018.
