Long Creek home prices rise in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Long Creek rose by $24,050 while total sales increased by 12.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were nine homes sold, with a median sale price of $150,000 - a 19.1% increase over the $125,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Long Creek in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Long Creek for 2017 was $2,143. In 2016, the median sales tax was $2,110. This marks an increase of 1.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.4%.
