Mount Zion home prices rise in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Mount Zion rose by $35,900 while total sales increased by 22.2%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 11 homes sold, with a median sale price of $137,900 - a 35.2% increase over the $102,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were nine homes sold in Mount Zion in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Mount Zion for 2017 was $3,068. In 2016, the median sales tax was $3,023. This marks an increase of 1.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.2%.
