Decatur home prices rise in July 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2018 in Decatur rose by $12,500 while total sales increased by 20.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2018, there were 133 homes sold, with a median sale price of $78,000 - a 19.1% increase over the $65,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 110 homes sold in Decatur in July 2017.

The median sales tax in Decatur for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,336, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for July 2018.
