Macon home prices fall in July 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2018 in Macon fell by $1,690 while total sales decreased by 62.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2018, there were three homes sold, with a median sale price of $69,000 - a 2.4% decrease over the $70,690 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were eight homes sold in Macon in July 2017.

The median sales tax in Macon for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,771, approximately 2.6% of the median home sale price for July 2018.
