Oak Grove Elementary School recently issued the following announcement.
Become a crime scene investigator and discover how fingerprints can help crack the case! You will discover your unique fingerprint with DNA fingerprinting technology.
Kids, join us for any of these free interactive programs on Tuesday afternoons this summer to learn about all things STEM -- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math! All programs will be in the Children's Auditorium upstairs. You do not need to attend every program to participate.
The program is sponsored by the Girl Scouts of Central Illinois, but is for both boys and girls, and you do not need to be a registered Girl Scout to attend.
The program is geared to kids who have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade. Space is limited to 30 participants per session, so please register in advance. You can register online for each program individually https://www.decaturlibrary.org/events/4159/summer-of-stem-crime-scene, or at the Children's Desk in the library, by calling 217-424-2900 ext. 5, or by messaging us on the Decatur Public Library Facebook page.
Thanks to The Girl Scouts of Central Illinois for offering this program at the Decatur Public Library!
