Meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman Newberg.

You are hereby directed to call a meeting of the Dewitt County Board. The purpose of said meeting is to conduct the business of the County.

Motion by Tilley second by Houser to approve County Board Minutes from April 2019. Aye: Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser. Motion carried.

Motion by Newberg second by Wickenhauser to re appoint Terry Lubbers to the Weldon Fire dist. with term set to expire May 2022. Aye: Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser. Motion carried.

Motion by Newberg second by Tilley to re appoint Howard A. Hedrick to the Wapella Fire dist. with term set to expire the first Monday in May 2022. Aye: Redman, Reece, Ritter, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser. Motion carried.

Ritter had to leave the meeting due to a family emergency at 6:09pm.

Motion by Ferguson second by Tilley to approve S-248-2019. Evergreen FS Inc. has requested a Special Use Permit for the construction of a second propane storage tank. Aye: Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser. Motion carried.

Motion by Redman second by Ferguson to offer one health insurance plan for county employees thru United Healthcare with the county contributing $480.00per month for single coverage. Aye: Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser. Motion carried.

Motion by Redman second by Pruser to eliminate offering free dental and vision insurance to those employees who decline health insurance. Aye: Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser. Motion carried.

Motion by Redman second by Ennis to approve the Motorola Solutions contract for a report writing system utilized by the Sheriff’s department, Dispatch, City of Clinton, Farmer City, and Piatt County. Aye: Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson, Houser, Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser. Motion carried.

Motion by Pruser second by Tilley to go into closed session at 6:46pm to discuss possible litigation.
