Decatur home prices rise in April 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in April 2019 in Decatur rose by $2,000 while total sales increased by 4.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In April 2019, there were 112 homes sold, with a median sale price of $63,000 - a 3.3% increase over the $61,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 107 homes sold in Decatur in April 2018.

The median sales tax in Decatur for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,336, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for April 2019.
