Mount Zion home prices fall in the fourth quarter of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the fourth quarter of 2018 in Mount Zion fell by $53,600 while total sales increased by 75%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From October through December of 2018, there were 28 homes sold, with a median sale price of $143,450 - a 27.2% decrease over the $197,050 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Mount Zion in the fourth quarter of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Zion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,068, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the fourth quarter of 2018.
