Mount Zion home prices fall in the first half of 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2018 in Mount Zion fell by $3,200 while total sales increased by 4.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2018, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $134,750 - a 2.3% decrease over the $137,950 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 46 homes sold in Mount Zion in the first half of 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Zion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,068, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2018.
