Mount Zion home prices fall in 2018

The median sale price of a home sold in 2018 in Mount Zion fell by $6,400 while total sales increased by 14.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through December of 2018, there were 116 homes sold, with a median sale price of $131,500 - a 4.6% decrease over the $137,900 median sale price for the previous year. There were 101 homes sold in Mount Zion in 2017.

The median sales tax in Mount Zion for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $3,068, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for 2018.
