Macon home prices rise in August 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2019 in Macon rose by $26,500 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $115,000 - a 29.9% increase over the $88,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Macon in August 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Macon for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,771, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for August 2019.
