Macon home prices fall in May 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2019 in Macon fell by $47,250 while total sales remained unchanged with four homes sold, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2019, there were four homes sold, with a median sale price of $63,000 - a 42.9% decrease over the $110,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were four homes sold in Macon in May 2018, as well.

The median sales tax in Macon for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,771, approximately 2.8% of the median home sale price for May 2019.
