Meeting was called to order at 6:00pm by Chairman Newberg.

Roll was answered by: Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Absent member Ritter, Houser.

You are hereby directed to call a meeting of the Dewitt County Board. The purpose of said meeting is to conduct the business of the County.

Motion by Ferguson second by Pruser to approve County Board Minutes from Nov. 2019. Aye: Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Newberg second by Tilley to re-appoint Nelson Thorp to the DeWitt County Board of Review with term set to expire Dec 31, 2022. Aye: Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Newberg second by Pruser to re-appoint Dennis Streight to the DeWitt County Board of Review with term set to expire Dec 31, 2022. Aye: Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Newberg second by Wickenhauser to re-appoint John Workman to the Sheriff Merit Commission with term set to expire Dec 2024. Aye: Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Newberg second by Ferguson to appoint Mike Trummel as the County’s Ethics Officer. Aye: Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Tilley second by Pruser to approve the application for Sourcewell joint purchase program. Aye: Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Redman second by Tilley to pay all bills. Aye: Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Redman second by Pruser to adopt Policy against Discrimination, Harassment and Sexual Mis Conduct. Aye: Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Redman second by Pruser to purchase new fire alarm system for the jail in the amount of $29,300.00. Aye: Matthews, Newberg, Nimmo, Pruser, Redman, Reece, Tilley, Wickenhauser, Ennis, Ferguson. Motion carried.

Motion by Tilley second by Redman to adjourn at 6:29pm. With all in favor.
