Blue Mound Fire Department issued the following announcement on April 28.
We received some mail today from a fine young gentleman who had a birthday during our shelter in place order. We were able to do a fire truck drive by on his birthday. This is why we are doing what we are doing.
Nothing warms our hearts more than seeing smiling faces during difficult times!
