The data shows that both of the released offenders in Clinton zip code were men. The younger parolee was a 34-year-old man convicted of homicide in 2016, and the other was a 35-year-old man convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2017.
The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Joshua Dubson. He was convicted of homicide in 2016, when he was 34 years old. He is now 37.
Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
