There was one offender released on parole during 2019 that lives in Warrensburg zip code 62573, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Macon Reporter.

The data shows that the released offender was Nathan A. Smith. He was convicted of a crime involving alcohol in 2018, when he was 36. He is now 38.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
