Q4 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in De Witt County?

There were two offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter of 2019 that live in De Witt County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Macon Reporter.

The data shows that both of the released offenders in De Witt County were men. The younger parolee was a 37-year-old man sentenced for homicide in 2016. The other was a 38-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving alcohol in 2017.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Joshua S. Dubson. He was convicted of homicide in 2016 when he was 33 years old. He is now 37.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the fourth quarter of 2019 in each De Witt County municipality with at least one parolee in the quarter.
