Decatur home prices fall in July 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in July 2020 in Decatur fell by $400 while total sales increased by 8.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In July 2020, there were 120 homes sold, with a median sale price of $89,500 - a 0.4% decrease over the $89,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 111 homes sold in Decatur in July 2019.

The median sales tax in Decatur for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,336, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for July 2020.
