Dewitt County Finance Committee met Sept. 2.
Here is the minutes provided by the committee:
MEMBERS PRESENT: Camille Redman – Chair, David Newberg, Terry Ferguson, Melonie Tilly and Lance Reece. Also, present Dee Rentmeister, County Administrator.
MEMBERS ABSENT: None
SUMMARY OF DISCSSION:
Motion by Tilley, 2nd by Ferguson to go into closed session at 5:31 p.m. to discuss personnel wages. Voice vote, motion carried.
Motion by Tilley, 2nd by Newberg to return to regular session at 5:59 p.m. Voice vote, motion carried.
Draft budget worksheets were given to committee members for their review. Not all budget worksheets are completed at this time. Will budget 2% increases for salaried positions. Will budget 850 hours for part time employees with the exception of security. Revenues are still uncertain. The general fund revenue is down approximately $400,000 compared to July of last year. Committee members will review the draft and discuss at the September 21st meeting.
