Decatur home prices rise in August 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2020 in Decatur rose by $16,250 while total sales decreased by 16.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2020, there were 97 homes sold, with a median sale price of $89,500 - a 22.2% increase over the $73,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 116 homes sold in Decatur in August 2019.

The median sales tax in Decatur for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,336, approximately 1.5% of the median home sale price for August 2020.
