City Of Farmer City issued the following announcement on Mar. 18.
Thank you to our crews for their quick action and hard work last night and today. We installed a new alert system last year that saved the city from running out of water today - crews came in when they were notified that our tower was running low and located they downed hydrant on Depot Rd.
