Okaw Valley Community Unit School District 302 Board met March 18.

Here is the agenda as provided by the board:

1. Call to order and roll call.

2. Visitors comments and communications.

3. Consent agenda.

       3.1 Presentation for approval of the minutes of the regular meeting of the Board of Education held February 18, 2021, and closed session minutes.

      3.2 Recommendation to renew membership in the IESA (Illinois Elementary School Association) for the Middle School for the 2021-2022 school year and to adopt its Constitution and By-Laws.

      3.3 Recommendation to renew membership in the IHSA (Illinois High School Association) for the 2021-2022 school year and to adopt and abide by its Constitution, By-Laws, Terms and Conditions, and Administrative Procedures, Guidelines, and Policies.

      3.4 Semi-Annual Review of Executive Session Minutes, and the destruction of eligible verbatim recordings dated before October 30, 2019.

4. Presentation of financial reports, bills, and payroll.

5. Communications and Information

      5.1 Principals’ Reports

      5.2 Superintendent's Report

      5.3 State Update

6. New Business.

      6.1 Approval of purchase of drivers education car.

      6.2 Enter closed session as provided in 5 ILCS 120/2, subsection ( c) for the purpose of discussing appointment, employment, performance, and compensation of employees and matters related to collective negotiations, the setting of a price for sale or lease of property owned by the public body. Action on these items may follow the closed session.
