June 2021: Decatur experienced a 9% increase in median home prices

The median sale price of a home sold in June 2021 in Decatur rose by $6,500 while total sales increased by 1.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In June 2021, there were 152 homes sold, with a median sale price of $79,000 - a 9% increase over the $72,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 150 homes sold in Decatur in June 2020.

The median sales tax in Decatur for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,336, approximately 1.7% of the median home sale price for June 2021.
