Warrensburg-Latham Community Unit School District 11 Board met Aug. 25.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Munson, called the regular meeting of the board of education to order at 6:31 p.m.

Members present by roll call vote were: Staci Bogue-Buchholz, Colleen Dickerson, David Munson, Clay Sellmeyer, Nathan Wentworth and Victoria Williams.

Absent: David Zazke.

A motion was made by Mrs. Staci Bogue- Buchholz and seconded by Mrs. Colleen Dickerson to adjourn to closed meeting at 6:32 p.m.. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

President, David Munson, called the regular meeting to return to order at 8:05 p.m.

The administration present consisted of : Jonathan Downing, Bret Reedy, Laura Anderson and Paul Hoffman.

Others present consisted of Recording Secretary, Teresa Bailey and visitors: Brittany Wentworth, Greg Hale and Kimberly Pyle.

President, David Munson, asked if there were any visitors that would like to address the board at which time Greg Hale spoke regarding IDPH COVID mandates.

A motion was made by Mrs. Staci Bogue-Buchholz and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to approve the consent agenda containing approval of monthly financial reports, minutes, approval of executive session meeting minutes and destruction of recordings as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the bills for payment for August 25, 2021. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Mrs. Teresa Bailey presented information regarding Monthly Financial Updates.

Superintendent Cheryl Warner presented information regarding updates based on summer 2021 progress.

Superintendent Cheryl Warner, presented information regarding the Superintendent Evaluation Tool. Mrs. Teresa Bailey presented information regarding FY22 Budget.

A motion was made by Mrs. Staci Bogue-Buchholz and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer to approve the August 25, 2021 personnel addendum as presented and pending satisfactory background checks. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mrs. Stai Bogue- Buchholz to reaffirm that IL Rte 121 is a safety hazard for children walking to school and therefore requires bus transportation for students in the east side of the highway. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Superintendent Cheryl Warner presented information regarding District Enrollment Report.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to approve the IASB Press 107 updates as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mrs. Colleen Dickerson to approve the WLHS Swim Proposal as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Various informational items were discussed.

A motion was made by Mr. Nathan Wentworth and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer to adjourn the August 25, 2021 meeting of the Warrensburg-Latham CUSD #11 Board of Education at 9:05 p.m. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
