Decatur median home prices fell by 11.3% in August 2021

The median sale price of a home sold in August 2021 in Decatur fell by $9,400 while total sales decreased by 33%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In August 2021, there were 73 homes sold, with a median sale price of $73,500 - a 11.3% decrease over the $82,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 109 homes sold in Decatur in August 2020.

The median sales tax in Decatur for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $1,336, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for August 2021.
