Dewitt County Marina Committee met Feb. 7.
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:
1) Call Meeting to Order
2) Persons Wishing to Address the Committee/Public Comment (If requesting action, also list below in section three).
a. Nick Nelson, Meeco Sullivan – dock sales manager
3) Items for Discussion and Possible Action
a. Approve January 3rd and 11th 2022 minutes
b. Approve claims
c. Refund to Christy Mills – jet ski slip rent from last year
d. Recommend to full board to rescind the following motion approved 9-23-2021: “move forward with the sale of the 75 acres across from the marina including restrictions from Exelon”
e. Amend the Declaration of Use Restrictions from Exelon to change the word “use” to development in item #2
f. Recommend to the full board to sale the 75 acres across from the marina with the Declaration of Use Restrictions as amended (parcels 08-35-400-007 and 13-02-200-010)
g. Approve up to $5000 for advertising of the sale of the 75 acres
h. Recommend to the full board to approve the auctioneer’s contract
i. Parking lot direction and signage
j. Remove islands in the parking lot
4) Closed Session

a. Spring maintenance plan
