Henderson County Library Board met March 7.
Here is the agenda provided by the board:
1. Call to Order – Monday, March 7, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at the Library.
2. Roll Call
3. Minutes of February 7th meeting.
4. Financial Report for February.
5. Bank of Stronghurst 18-month CD maturity date is 3-16-22. This certificate will renew10 days after the maturity date if not redeemed. Accounting Clerk Hilligoss will call are banks for CD rates
6. Move $1500 from line-item Equipment to line-item Programs
7. RAILS Lawyer – Philip Lenzini, Peoria, IL.
· Do you want Phil to prepare the Henderson County PLD’s Budget and Appropriations Ordinance and the Levy Ordinance again this year?
8. Circulation for February.
9. Employees
· Library Director Evaluation Form to review
10. Hoopla
· Director Smith has completed the registration form.
· RSA – RSAcat integration would allow patrons to see Hoopla materials in RSAcat. Installation costs that SirsiDynix and Hoopla pass to RSA is $350 per group. We can wait for another Hoopla library to go live and split the installation cost. Annual charge is $100 a year increasing 2% a year
11. Johnson Controls (Tyco Simplex Grinnell)
· 2-8-22 Annual Fire Alarm system test and inspection completed with no deficiencies.
· Annual billing for the Fire Alarm Monitoring Contract which provides 24 hour monitoring, repair and/or replacement of communicator as needed, daily review of condition codes and one program change per year. $506.66
12. Vervocity
· 2-15-22 Website went live
· 2-17-22 Training with Vervocity on Google meets with Director Smith, Allaman, Baker and Tee
13. The Association for Rural & Small Libraries- Director Smith renewed Library Staff Level 1 Annual Membership for $49.00. The 2022 ARSL Conference will be held September 14-17, 2022, in Chattanooga, TN
15.Reaching Forward Illinois Conference – Registration fee $50
14. Other –
· 2-2-22 – School was cancelled snow and windy therefore the Bookmobile did not run.
· 2-5-22 – Program on Beginner’s Fermentation presented by Donna Painter with 5 in attendance.
· 2-7-22 – RSA Delivery count the 7th – 11 for inter-library loans.
· 2-8-22 – Director Smith attended the IMRF workshop online for Wage Reporting
· 2-4-21 – Director Smith attended the zoom RSA Database Committee Meeting
· 2-9-21 – Book
· 2-10-21 - Director Smith listened to the recorded RSA User Group webinar.
· 2-14-22 – Southeast Iowa Garage replace the 2 panels and the seal around the garage door.
· 2-24-22 – Adult/Teen Winter Reading Party held at 6:30pm with___ in attendance
· Fancy Nancy Tea Party will be on Tuesday April 12, 2022, at 6:30 pm. Held at the Barn at Fairview Acres, Biggsville, IL
