The Board of Education and Administration sends condolences to the families of:
James R. (Jim) Thompson, who passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022. Mr. Thompson was the father of Marissa Thompson, Teacher for the Visually Impaired at the Macon-Piatt Special Education District.
Sharon K. Collins, who passed away Monday, September 12, 2022. Ms. Collins was a retired Special Education Teacher from Decatur Public School District 61 and the Macon-Piatt Special Education District.
Harold L. Ard, who passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022. Mr. Ard was the father of Connie Kinsella, School Psychologist for Macon-Piatt Special Education District.
Barbara Jean Disney, who passed away Monday, September 19, 2022. Mrs. Disney taught at Benjamin Franklin Elementary School prior to her retirement.
