Of the 496 citizens living in Waynesville in 2020, 399 were old enough to vote as of March 24, according to U.S. Census Bureau data.

The bureau reported 191 of those people were female and 208 were male.

Data for this story was compiled from the bureau’s American Community Survey. Information from the survey helps to determine how federal and state funds are distributed.
