There were 603 white students enrolled in Sangamon Valley Community Unit School District 9 in the 2021-22 school year, 2.1% less than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Sangamon Valley Community Unit School District 9 welcomed 724 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 93.6% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Sangamon Valley Community Unit School District 9 roughly covers schools within Macon County and has a main office in Niantic.

Among the four schools in Sangamon Valley Community Unit School District 9, Sangamon Valley High School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 183 students.
