*Motion to approve the July 20, 2023, County Board meeting minutes.

APPOINTMENTS:

*Motion to appoint Doug Oakley to assume the vacant office of Trustee for the Kenney Fire Protection District of DeWitt and Macon Counties with a term ending April 30, 2025. *Motion to approve Resolution Appointing Drainage Commissioner for terms expiring on or before the first Tuesday of September 2023. The newly appointed terms will expire the first Tuesday of September 2026. The appointments are for the following Drainage Districts as stated in the Resolution:

Barnett Special Drainage District (County of DeWitt)– Appoint James (Jack) Powers Clintonia Special Drainage District (County of DeWitt)– Appoint Robert J. Thomas Clintonia Union Drainage District No. 1 (County of DeWitt)– Appoint Josh Turney Coon Creek Drainage District (County of DeWitt)– Appoint Larry Moody

Creek Union Drainage District No. 1 (Counties of DeWitt and Macon)– Appoint Ryan Utterback

Friends Creek Special Drainage District (Counties of DeWitt and Piatt)– Appoint David J. Newberg

Mutual Drainage District No. 1 of Maroa – Appoint Craig Hill

PUBLIC SAFETY: Report given by Mrs. Myers. For discussion and possible action: *No Recommendations.

PROPERTY: Report given by Mr. Ferguson. For discussion and possible action: *Motion to approve Seneca to clean/fuel polish the 3 underground tanks for $7,061.00. *Motion to approve the estimate from Trimble Plumbing up to $25,000 for replacement of drainage pipe in the back restrooms at the County Building.

ROAD AND BRIDGE: Report given by Mr. Prestegaard. For discussion and possible action:

*Motion to purchase 2024 Mack Granite dump truck from Decatur Mack including extended warranty in the amount of $279,736.00.

MARINA: Report given by Mr. Matthews. For Discussion and possible action: *No Recommendations.

FINANCE: Report given by Mrs. Tilley. For Discussion and possible action: *Motion to pay all bills.

*Motion to approve Resolution to increase election judge compensation. *Motion to approve the 2024 Holiday Schedule

OLD AND/OR NEW BUSINESS: For Discussion and possible action: *Award the jail roof replacement to Design Roofing Systems in the amount of $276,746. *Motion to notify 1125 Property Management that the County will not be renewing their lease agreement at the Clinton Lake Marina, set to expire on 1/1/2024. *Motion to notify Clinton Lake Sailing Association that the County will not be renewing their lease agreement at Clinton Lake, set to expire on 1/1/2025.

*Motion to approve case A35-2023 Revision to 155.053B(1)(2) Prohibiting CO injection wells in all zoning districts. (Tabled at July 20, 2023 Co Board Meeting)
