CALL TO ORDER

Planning and Zoning Chairman R. C. Campbell called the meeting to order at 5:30 P.M.

Upon call of the roll, the following Commissioners were physically present:

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

MOTION: Commission Ragan made a Motion to approve the minutes of December 28, 2023 as presented and Commissioner Brinkoetter seconded the motion.

Upon a call of the roll, the vote was as follows:

Yeas: 5- Campbell, Mitteer, Ragan, Brinkoetter, May

Nays: 0 - None

Absent: 4- Downey, Doerfler, Perkins, Cantwell

Administrator Applebee said the final paperwork has been turned in and is complete. Lots 1 and 3 will have retail occupants but none in Lot 1. The purpose of this discussion is approval of the final plat. A short discussion ensued.

MOTION: Commissioner Brinkoetter made a Motion to recommend approval of this request as presented and Commissioner Mitteer seconded the motion.

Upon a call of the roll, the vote was as follows:

Nays: 0 - None

Absent: 4 - Downey, Doerfler, Perkins, Cantwell

OLD BUSINESS

Review and discussion of Forsyth Code of Ordinances – Ongoing Discussion Director of Planning and Zoning Raleigh started the conversation by beginning with Chapter 3. A lengthy discussion ensued on various ordinance points that need revised.

No Motion needed.

NEW BUSINESS

Swearing In of Commissioners Steve Ragan and Cathy Mitteer

Administrator Applebee said the Board of Trustees unanimously approved the confirmation of these two Commissioners. Then Village Clerk Cheryl Marty swore in both Commissioners to another term.

No Motion needed.

ADJOURNMENT

Commissioner Ragan made a Motion to adjourn, Commissioner Mitteer seconded the Motion, and Chairman Campbell asked for a voice vote which was then unanimously approved. The meeting was adjourned at 7:55 P.M.
