Warrensburg-Latham Community Unit School District 11 Board met March 27.

Here are the minutes provided by the board:

Munson, called the regular meeting of the board of education to order at 6:00 p.m.

Members present by roll call vote were: Greg Hale Jr., RJ McKenzie, David Munson, Clay Sellmeyer, Chris Wentworth, Victoria Williams and David Zaske.

Pledge of Allegiance - WLES Student Salute - Charlie Probus & Reece Neibuhr - 1st Grade Mrs. Robertson.

WLHS Young Leaders in Action presented a grant check to Helping Hands.

Administration presente consisted of Cheryl Warner, Allison Nolen, Paul Hoffman and Bret Reedy.

Others present consisted of Recording Secretary:Teresa Bailey, Recording Secretary in Training: Kirsten Perkins and visitors: Charlie Probus, Reece Neibuhr, Faith Bennett, Savannah Allen, Heather Probus and Brooke Neibuhr.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Zaske to approve the consent agenda containing approval of monthly financial reports, minutes, special meeting minutes, approval of executive session meeting minutes and destruction of recordings as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Chris Wentworth and seconded by Mr. Davis Munson to approve the March 2024 bills as presented for payment. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

Mrs. Teresa Bailey presented information regarding Monthly Financial Update.

A motion was made by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. and seconded by Mr. RJ McKenzie to approve the resignation of WLMS Math Teacher, Claire Monroe as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. RJ McKenzie and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to approve the transfer of 5th Grade WLES Teacher, Pam Bonds, to WLMS Math Teacher for 2024-2025, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Chris Wentworth and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to approve the transfer of 3rd Grade WLES Teacher, Nat Dorgan, to 5th Grade WLES Teacher for 2024-2025, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. David Zaske to approve the resignation of School Health Care Aide, Lacey Sutheard, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer to approve the resignation of custodian, Tashawna Streight, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. Chris Wentworth to approve the resignation of custodian, Kylee Tillman, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Chris Wentworth and seconded by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer to approve the resignation of custodian, Sade Box, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mr. Chris Wentworth to approve the resignation of bus driver, Andrea Harp, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to approve the retirement of bus driver, Sara Alwood, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve the resignation of Athletic Trainer, Christine Hoffman,as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to approve the resignation of 8th Grade Advisor, Kourtney Closs as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Clay Sellmeyer and seconded by Mrs. Victoria Williams to approve the leave of absence of WLES Teacher, Kim Hermann, as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Zaske to approve the renewal of the IHSA membership for 2024-2025 as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Munson to approve American Asbestos Abatement Midwest Service Group and Sullivan Contractors for the proposed WLMS summer construction projects for summer 2024 and summer 2025 as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. David Munson and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to approve the final 2023-2024 school calendar as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mr. Chris Wentworth and seconded by Mr. Greg Hale Jr. to approve the proposed 2024-2025 school calendar as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. RJ McKenzie to approve the proposed tentative 2025-2026 school calendar as presented. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.

A motion was made by Mrs. Victoria Williams and seconded by Mr. David Zaske to adjourn the March 27, meeting of the Warrensburg-Latham CUSD#11 Board of Education at 6:37 pm.. All members present voted aye. Motion carried.
