City of Clinton City Council met June 7.
Here are the minutes provided by the council:
Minutes of the special meeting of the City Council of the City of Clinton, Illinois in session in the Fire Department Bay, Friday, June 7, 2024 at 9:00 a.m.. On roll call, Commissioners Wise, Ballenger and Buchanan were present. Acting Mayor Tom Edmunds was absent.
Jim Arndt with Arndt Municipal Support Inc. came before council to introduce a strategic planning session. Throughout the session, there was a team building exercise, governance training refresher, stakeholder input review, vision, mission, organizational values, and a goal primer. Arndt reviewed the executive management team’s recommended vision/mission an departmental goals. The next session will include vision, mission, organizational values, goals objectives with Commissioner input, planned for Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 9 a.m.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, a motion was made by Commissioner Wise and seconded by Commissioner Ballenger to adjourn the meeting.
