There were 25 Hispanic students enrolled in Moultrie County school districts in the 2022-23 school year, 8.7% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education.

Data showed that Hispanic students made up 1.6% of the 1,603 students in the county. They were the second least represented ethnicity at the time.

Among the two districts in Moultrie County, Sullivan Community Unit School District 300 recorded the highest enrollment of Hispanic students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 25 students.

The main offices of all districts mentioned in the story are located in cities associated with Moultrie County.
