13.OTHER NEW BUSINESS:
A. Motion to amend the Moultrie County Board’s Rules of Procedure and Order of Business to define quorum as follows: two-thirds (2/3) of the County Board members shall constitute a quorum.
B. Motion to amend the Moultrie County Boards’ standing committees as established by the Moultrie County Board’s Rules of Procedure and Order of Business as follows:
There shall be seven (7) standing committees as follows:
• Budget and Finance Committee
• Building and Property Committee
• Legislative Committee (meets as needed with 48 hours’ notice)
o Elections
o Insurance
o Liquor – Chaired by County Board Chair
o Technology
• Personnel Committee
• Planning & Zoning
o GIS
• Public Health, Safety, and Welfare Committee
• Road and Bridge Committee
(Note: There is a Dive Board that meets quarterly.)
C. Motion to appoint the ongoing duties of preparing and posting the Moultrie County Board’s Committee Agendas and Minutes of the Board Committees to the Moultrie County Planning and Zoning Director; with the exception of the Road and Bridge Committee which Agendas and Minutes will be prepared and posted by the Highway Department.
D. Motion to approve Resolution Amending the Predictable Fee Schedule for the County Recorder’s Office, which resolution has been posted in the Moultrie County Clerk & Recorder’s since November 27, 2024, and which shall take effect January 1, 2025.
