A. Committee’s purpose stated at the December 19, 2024 Board Meeting – edit as needed to gain alignment
i. Compliance
a) Develop an on-boarding manual for new board members, elected officials, appointed officials, and county employees for whom compliance with state laws and county ordinances is an essential part of the job.
b) Validate compliance with existing laws and ordinances, and bring forward recommendations to the full board, as needed.
ii. Technology
a) Oversee the development, implantation, and maintenance of the county’s technology infrastructure and services.
b) Ensure that technology initiatives align with the county’s strategic goals and enhance operational efficiency.
c) Consider suggestions from county government employees and elected officials on ways that technology can improve efficiency, and bring forward recommendations to the full board, as needed.
B. Discussion on approach to developing an on-boarding manual and identifying Compliance gaps
C. Discussion on approach to identifying opportunities for Technology to improve transparency and efficiency
