Minutes
Motion made by Ken Kirchner to accept the meeting minutes for the November 13, 2024 meeting. Seconded by Laura Reimer. Motion carried on voice vote; all members present voting yea.

Old Business
The results of the FPL Community Survey were discussed. Seventy-two community members completed the survey. Ninety-five % of those completing the survey are very satisfied with FPL. A survey response letter was discussed to show survey results.

Librarian’s Report
● Melanie gave us an update on her completed 2024 Director Goals.
● Melanie discussed her 2025 Director Goals
● FPL had an 18 % increase over 2023 in visitors coming to the library. Patrons saved $429,000 using their library card in 2024 versus buying the same items.
● FPL Year in Review was discussed.
● Our library staff is very busy creating many new programs for 2025.
● Patron card registration as of November 30 includes 1,361 adults and 140 juveniles. The November 2024 patron count is 2,764 which is 364 more than November 2023. Circulation for November 2024 is 3,891 which is 223 more than November 2023. Materials checked out by Non-Forsyth Patrons is 1,478. Materials checked out by Forsyth Patrons at other libraries is 258.
● Patron card registration as of December 31 includes 1,357 adults and 141 juveniles. The December 2024 patron count is 2,502 which is 294 more than December 2023. Circulation for December 2024 is 3,581 which is 24 more than December 2023. Materials checked out by Non-Forsyth Patrons is 1,392. Material check out by Forsyth Patrons at other libraries is 234.
