Discussions:
● Per Capita Grant filed 1/20/25 and it was accepted, written for summer reading program and two more security cameras
● Annual Certification submitted 1/9/25
● IMEA Lighting Grant Submitted 1/24/25, attempting to replace lighting in three stages–may be able to do it in two parts depending on the amount we receive
● New stereo system in the library-currently playing soundtracks to movies that were originally books. There has been very positive feedback so far!
● Blind Date with a book plan for Valentine’s Day
● Puzzle Swap and Puzzle contest in February
● Harry Potter exhibit still slated for March 10th to April 17th
● Reaching Forward South is a conference in Effingham that is open to employees and board members; it is on April 4th.
● Statistical Summary presented: overall usage numbers are up
