On Sunday, Feb. 23, former St. Teresa High School standout Lula Sassano’s current college team, the Missouri S&T Miners, lost 9-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Washburn Ichabods.

The game took place at Gahnstrom Field. This was their first matchup against the Ichabods this season.

The Miners’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 3:55 p.m. at Branson RecPlex against Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
