On Friday, April 18, former Sangamon Valley High School standout Jordan Closs’ current college team, the Illinois Blues, won 2-0 in their NCAA Division III softball game against the Monmouth Fighting Scots.

The game took place at Monmouth College Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Fighting Scots this season.

The Blues’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Kamp Softball Field against Cornell Rams.
