Village of Warrensburg Village Board met Oct. 6.
Here are the minutes provided by the board:
CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Hackl called the meeting to order at the Warrensburg Village Hall on Monday, October 6, 2025 at 5:30 p.m., reminding everyone the meeting was being recorded.
THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE was recited.
ROLL CALL: Present Mayor Hackl, Trustee Fisher, Trustee Bons, Trustee Eskew, Trustee Netherton. Also present were Attorney Janowicz, Chief Wheeler, DPW Allen, VAC Keppler. Absent: Trustee Davis.
MAYOR’S COMMENTS: Mayor Hackl asked that all the Trustees look over the Frontier, Conxxus, and Rise Broad band quotes, so that they can be voted on at the October 20, 2025 Board meeting.
PUBLIC COMMENTS: Cindy Hundley had asked that during Board meetings the Trustees speak up, as they can not be heard. Matt from Da Burg and Cindy Hundley spoke about the golf cart rental invoice. They stated that Matt had spoke with the manager at the golf cart rental place about the invoice not matching what they were quoted, and asked if the Village could send a letter with the tax-exempt form to at least try and get the taxes back.
NEW BUSINESS: Nothing
ENGINEER: Leland asked if there was anything to be discussed, and there was not.
REVIEW/APPROVAL OF MINUTES: A Motion was made by Trustee Netherton, seconded by Trustee Eskew to approve the September 15, 2025 regular board meeting minutes.
VILLAGE ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK: A motion was made by Trustee Bons and seconded by Trustee Eskew to pay the bills, make the transfers and pay the balance sheet. VAC Keppler suggested making transfers from the IL Sewer funds to Buena Vista, transfer from Il General funds to Buena Vista.
Roll Call Vote: Yes – Trustee Netherton, trustee fisher, trustee Bons, Trustee Eskew.
FINANCE: Nothing
BUILDING: Trustee Netherton discussed that the checks were written for the sign permits, and he has not heard any thing more back regarding the permits.
POLICE: There was a discussion regarding the PLAWA and if the police officers would keep the accumulated time or not. It was decided that the PLAWA would be discussed at a later time.
Chief Wheeler: Chief Wheeler discussed the signature pad, and that it was $600 less than quoted. Chief Wheeler discussed that the school officer has been very busy. It was discussed that there have been several investigations, flock cameras are up and working.
SEWER: Nothing
STREETS: Nothing
WATER: Nothing
PUBLIC WORKS: Terry Allen discussed he needs to get two pumps, says one will produce more chlorine than is needed and that it is recommended for the two pumps to keep the chloride consistent. He provided a quote from Pump Man that was $1617.12 for the two pumps that are needed. It was discussed that in the future, at least three quotes will be needed. A motion was made by Trustee Fisher to approve the pumps and seconded by Trustee Netherton.

VILLAGE ATTORNEY: Nothing
OTHER AND/OR OLD BUSINESS: Nothing
The meeting adjourned at 6:12 pm.
The next regular meeting will be on Monday, October 20, 2025 @ 5:30 PM.
